Re: Terrible ATT service in SW Florida
I live in Naples and everywhere I go I either have no service at all (zero bars) or I have one bar. No matter where I am, I am told Verizon has better service than any other phone service in this area, which is really unfortunate because I have 2 phones, a watch, and my cable service through at&t and it costs a fortune, and would probably cost even more to switch..... annoyed.

Hello @buckwheatnt2014,
We'd be more than happy to take a closer look into these issues that you've been experiencing with your wireless service. We'll need some more details in order for us to better assist you. How long has this been going on? What kind of cell phone are you using? What is the zip code for the area where this is taking place? Also, what specific issues are you experiencing with your wireless service? Are you unable to make/receive phone calls and text messages? Can you no longer use your mobile data? Please let us know. In the meantime, we recommend using our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool to fix this. Simply select your device and the issue, then follow the steps to find a solution. Let us know if this helps.

I am using the Iphone 7 plus, I know this is a very outdated phone but it has been an even bigger pain trying to get my photos and videos into a secured file on my computer or a zip drive as you have to move all photos individually, since icloud will not hold very much storage. Sooo to say that has been a struggle is an understatement. I am unable to make/receive phone calls and text messages at work with area code 34108, and at home with area code 34135. Even with wifi enable at work, I have no service. It literally says no service with zero bars for most of the day. Usually the only time I can get more than 2 bars is when I am close to downtown Naples which is 30 minutes out of my way, I hardly ever go there. Maybe because Bonita Springs is such a small town, but even back home in Indiana I had better service than this. At least 1 bar normally, which isn't great but that seems to be the norm these days. Here in florida I am lucky to have one bar. I live far far away from most of my close friends and family so the only way to communicate with them is through phone, if I could be, I would be on the phone most of my free time.

I’m using an iPhone XS Max and my wife has the iPhone XS. We get no cell or data at and near our home in Naples (34120). Our service is spotty throughout most of Naples and the surrounding areas.

We'll be happy to look into what's going on with your coverage @Peoplepleaser101.
The towers in your ZIP code appear to be functioning normally. Let's try a few troubleshooting measures to resolve this for you.
If these tips aren't effective for you, we'll need a little more context in order to proceed.
Please let us know if this works for you. We look forward to your response. Thank you for reaching out to our AT&T Community.

All of SWF has terrible cell service. I have 4 kids we have new iPhones and 1-2 bars is best case for most cities in SW Florida. Not sure why is it this bad, I had better cell service in the 90s in Eastern KY

I have the same problem in Naples, especially in the afternoon. AT&T will tell you it's not them, but I believe they don't have enough tower space. I have three bars and none of my calls go through. I also have a phone on the Verizon network that works fine. I'm switching over...........

If two out of three cell phone carriers work well in your area and you're with the one that doesn't work well, you are with the wrong service provider and it's up to you to make the switch.
