No data over LTE cell site.
I'm staying long term at a location near Gig Harbor, WA. I have a strong (at&t) LTE signal on my iphone11. I can call and text (SMS) no problem. However, there is no data being passed at the site. If I travel to another cell coverage area data passes fine. My wife's iPhone11 is experiencing the same problem.
Also, if I turn off cell data, the local wifi network will pass data fine, also. However, as soon as I turn cell data back on, the phones pick up the LTE signal and the internet fails.
I attempted to contact at&t to request troubleshooting and resolution but was not able to. The problem came on gradually over the last week, evidenced by slowing data rates, but it appears to have completely failed now. I have the cellid (108318216), but can't find a way of relaying the information to at&t. It seems to me (having some network background), that this would be automatically monitored, but apparently not. How do I bring this problem to at&t's attention?

Good morning, @Windywave. This is not the experience we want you to have, and we certainly understand that it is important for you to be able to connect to our network.
As you have already tried some troubleshooting steps, we would suggest the following:
If this tool does not resolve this for you, please reach back out to us. We will invite you into a Direct Message, get the specific zip code for your location, and check the towers in that area.
Give these steps a try, and let us know if they work for you! If not, we'll be more than happy to assist.

Thanks for your reply. Here is some additional information.
Before my original post I did try a network reset with no positive results. After your reply I saw a positive result after the Airplane Mode toggle!
I use Ookla speedtest for a data rate metric and was seeing speeds in the 15-20 Mbps range. But then, a few minutes later, speeds dropped to 2 Mbps. I monitored for the next 1/2 hour and rates never returned to what I had seen at first.
They’ve now completely failed and I’ve lost network connection even though my phone is reporting 4/4 bars LTE.
I’m going to attempt to transfer to wifi and not drop this thread or post.

Ah, now data is back on LTE. I wanted to explain when I wrote “I’ve lost network connection”, I meant I can’t pass data through LTE.
I can’t believe this is a congestion issue since, although rates aren’t consistent, they completely drop out from time to time.
Thank you again for addressing this issue.

It appears that I didn’t explain well. I have the same problem and need to escalate this.

Hi Windywave. Let’s meet in a Direct Message (DM) to discuss your service experience.
Please check your Direct Message Inbox. Look for the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums page.
While you're at it, you will want to check the network coverage in your area, and make sure to stop by the section "Signal Loss - Is It Us or Something Else?" when you visit Dropped Calls & Low Signal - Technical Support From The AT&T Community. These can give you some idea about what factors can be impacting service in your area.
Make sure to watch for a message in your DM. We want to look into this for you to get you a definite resolution.

Lar addressed this and it now appears to be resolved. I consistently experience rates of >45 Mbps down and >10 Mbps up. I consider this issue resolved.
It’s unfortunate that it took me time to arrive at this “tool” ( that is, this forum), and that it took time to work through the problem in a chat environment, but once I spent the time to work it through, I was able to have it resolved.
So, 5 stars for Lar bit only 2 for at&t.
