MULTI-DAY OUTAGES OF MOBILE INTERNET AND PHONES IN ALABAMA

Second day in a row of zero internet signal and zero phone service in Alabama. WE CAN'T EVEN DIAL 911.

When you call customer service from a Non- AT&T phone: AT&T "is experienceing longer than usual wait times" and several hours on hold is wasted time because your call goes unanswered.

Too bad us nerds are the only ones who ever read TOS'. If everyone read this stuff, carriers would be forced to change their creepy, authoritarian ways.

Glad I saved this. Cut and pasted from AT&T's Dec 2021 updated TOS:

"If you are an existing customer, this Agreement replaces the Wireless Customer Agreement, Terms of Service and Plan Terms for AT&T PREPAID, Data Services Agreement, AT&T Phone terms of service (VOIP), Fixed Wireless Service Terms, and AT&T Internet Terms of Service.

By activating, using, or paying for any of these products or services, you’re accepting and agree to be bound by this Agreement. 

AT&T has no obligation to notify you of any changes in technology and changes in technology will not affect your obligations with respect to the Internet Service you have purchased.

AT&T will provision 5G Internet Service at your location without any prior notice to you.  

We will disconnect or suspend your service for up to fifteen (15) days during the conversion process. 

(there's a whole separate section on how they refuse to pro rate bills or give discounts for the 2-3 weeks of no internet service during the 5G change)

We will discontinue the Internet Service you are currently receiving and offer you 5G Internet Service at different terms, and conditions, and your overall price will increase as a result of this conversion to 5G.
5G Internet Service will require different or additional equipment in order to utilize it. 

You will also be required to accept new or additional terms and conditions related to the new 5G Internet Service and/or new equipment.
