March 29 2015 Outage in Texas
I'm experiencing an outage with my cell phone, starting at around 10:15 this morning. I live in South Texas. My mother also seems to be experiencing the same problem, so I know it is not just my phone. I can't call or text anyone--luckily I have an iPhone so I can still iMessage.
I am wondering how many others are experiencing the same outage and how soon before the problem is resolved?

Odd thing, my son's service is working and he is in Wichita Falls, TX right now. We are on same account.

Looks like it is all of Central Texas. That is a big outing can't imagine what happened. I did talk to someon on live chat. All they told me is their working on it. According to my phone 911 calls will still go through, but no other calls.

None of our cell phones work.

I am in north Austin and the last text I was able to receive or send was at 10:18 am. No phone service bu I can still receive emails if I am on wireless so that's how I'm trying to communicate.
