Att Unlimited Elite Plan Travel to Mexico

I have an Unlimited Elite Plan and I am planning on traveling to Mexico. Do I need to turn on roaming or will my phone adjust without needing roaming? I know talk, text, and data is included in the plan for in and out of the US with Mexico. I just want to make sure I’m not charged extra fees.
