Account access overseas

I had to leave the country abruptly due to the covid pandemic, and now have been trying to access my wireless account through the AT&T website and app, but without success. I don't have network coverage, and everytime I try to login on MyAT&T, an automated message pops up saying that AT&T will try to confirm that it's really me trying to gain access to the account by sending me a SMS code. I need network coverage and access to my online account, can anybody please help?

Accounts are blocked from access outside of the US

As I said, I do not have network coverage, so I can't use my phone to make phone calls. I borrowed my father's phone to make this call, but it won't go through. Only AT&T devices can call this number?

I was expecting to be able to solve this issue online. Not having network coverage makes it hard to place phone calls

sorry but not possible online unless you login through a us based vpn if it’s a prepaid account then all you can do is cancel the credit card associated with the account.

Thanks for your help, I understand. I do not want to cancel, I need to have access to my wireless account and be able to place phone calls through my device to U.S. phone numbers, since I do not have network coverage.
