5G Standalone

Your current SIM does not support 5G Standalone. Contact your carrier for more information.

Which iPhone? Do you have one of the Unlimited Plans? Have you upgraded your SIM if you have a 5G plan?

Is this a question?   5g coverage is not comprehensive enough to use 5g only and get adequate service.

If this is a coverage question, I have a 5G phone and plan but I just leave my phone on LTE all of the time as 5G is still too spotty in our area to be connected to all of the time. LTE is more reliable.

Even tho the coverage maps indicate that we are in a 5G coverage area that doesn't really mean anything. The maps just indicate, for the most part, where the 5G signal can reach, it does not indicate usability.

@OttoPylot and @formerlyknownas  - do you seriously have any clue about these questions?

time and time again, you post replies with boilerplate but do not answer questions.
a simple answer is: “T-MOBILE HAS STANDALONE SUPPORT. VERIZON 5G IS FAST IN MANY MORE AREAS THAT ATT - UP TO 4GBPS WHICH EXCEEDS THE 5G SA/STANDALONE SPEC. ATT RAN OUT OF CASH SO ITS 5G ISNT EVEN ON PAR WITH OTHERS’ LTE/LTE-A”
