Wrong phone number
I got my sim today, and afte i activated it, it turned out that my phone number was not ported.. Even tho the invoice that came with the sim has the correct number.
Can this be fixed without having new sim or going to your store

You have to call AT&T to have your number ported. Not a big deal it can be ported for free and changed in the first 30 days. This is standard operating procedure, you will not need a new SIM card.
Call and ask for the port Department. I do not know the number offhand

Do you have correct info to Port your number?
You need to have active service on your phone number with whichever carrier still has it. You need to know the account number and the security pin

Your reply has nothing to do with my problem.
Everything was done online last week.
• i made my request online after entering all the info including account and pin numbers
• AT&T sent me an email about it i spoke to them and provided same info again and everything was confirmed to be correct.
• my service with previous provider still active
• Att.com/port this website confirms my port request is there.
• new line with att that i got now is active , i activated it, i choose plan and paid for it..
• the new att number (temp) is active!
The inly thing remaining is for them to replace the number with mine!
My problem is i go through the transfer process and they ask me all fhe questions including address and if i need to listen to my mail box, after that that they put me on hold to transfer it, for a very long time then they hung uo on me without transferring anything! Even tho i ask them if anything is missing or needed and they said no everything is correct.
I talked to almost 7 people and they all do the same, last one i spoke to after almost 20 mins saud its done, there is one more step and she has to put me on hold again, and then hung up, and i check later and the phone number wasn't transferred!!!

The problem is, for whatever reason AT&T is not completing the port. You can doit curbside at an AT&T location. It's a lot harder to 'hang up' on you when you're parked right outside the store.

You have 30 days from start of service. Unfortunately you have to keep your other service paid and active because AT&T cannot port a number if it's not active
