Why does my new go phone samsung galaxy express 3 has an invalid esn?
I recently bought this go phone at Best Buy. The first time I turned it on it said "no sim" so I removed it and installed it twice and still had the same message. I tried a different sim card from another carrier and it did not show the message of "no sim" anymore. I put the att sim card back and this time it recognized it so I tried to follow the steps for activation with no success. Later I went in the att website and checked the imei and it says "Your device is compatible, but we are unable to find the correct SIM card" I googled this and I ended up in a website where one can check esn typing in the IMEI and it says "invalid esn". what happened?

Are you in USA/Canada/Mexico??
Take the phone to any AT&T Crop.store.
A new AT&T Sim card maybe needed.

I'm in USA. I called the customer service number and they say they updated all the correct info. I went to check the imei number again in the ATT site and it still shows the same message "Your device is compatible, but we are unable to find the correct SIM card"
