Where did my pre pay money go?
I travel to the US twice a year and need to keep a constant phone number so friends know it's me calling them. (Quite a few of my friends quite rightly won't answer calls from numbers they dont recognise.)
I was recomended to use a Go-phone account.
Last November I started the Go-phone account, topped up my phone on the 21'st (the $45 plan) and again on the 27th just before I left the US (as instructed to do by AT&T store staff) then changed my rate plan to 25c. I got an email saying that my account would expire at the end of Feb (the AT&T staff member told me to ignore it as it was an error on the website). I was told the $45 would hold the number and the account open until my next trip.
I am returning in a few weeks and logged on to check get ready to change from 25c/min to the $45 plan and my $45 ballance had dissapeared. I checked and yes my plan is set to 25c a minute.
No calls made no date used since November so where did the money go? Whats going on?
Worse still online chat support is NOT available to Go-phone users and there is no way to email AT&T.....
