Postpaid phone to prepaid
Can I use my iPhone 11 pro max on prepaid if it was on postpaid but still owe? I had added a family member on my plan and they jacked it up to the point I could no longer afford it. It's with at&t obviously.

In order to migrate to prepaid you would have to pay off your phone first. Migration is done in a corporate store. If the postpaid plan is in your name, you can't get out of paying the bill and you are responsible for a charges incurred by anyone you added to your postpaid plan.
Your social security number is on the account. Don't let then ruin your credit.
You have some recourse as the account owner to suspend and possibly Blacklist the phone used by the family member if they are not paying their share.
You can also block features like long-distance calling outside the United States or game purchases. I suggest you have a talk with them and get them to pay up first. And then move both numbers to prepaid so they can pay their own.
