Cellular Update Failed

We are here to help you update your device, so you can make and receive calls again, @Mrs_Knuckles.

We do understand how important it is to stay connected. When updating your iPhone, you want to:

• Make sure you’re in the U.S. and on our wireless network.
• We recommend connecting to Wi-Fi before downloading the update.
• Although there should be no impacts to settings or data, we recommend that your device is backed up to iCloud before updating.

To update your device:

1. Plug your device in to power and connect to Wi-Fi.
2. Tap Settings, then General.
3. Tap Software Update, then Download and Install.
4. Tap Install.

Please keep in mind, software updates on our website are available for AT&T branded devices. If you do not have an update available, you may contact the manufacturer for additional support.

@ATTHelp the update is getting stuck at "verifying update" what does this mean I should do?

@Mrs_Knuckles You may need to put your iPhone I’d device recovery mode. Link below from Apple on how to perform a device recovery.

FYI IPhone software updates come directly from Apple not from AT&T.

@Mrs_Knuckles  What model of iPhone? If it is a 16.1.1 compatible phone then I'd contact Apple, AT&T can't really help you.
