AT&T Prepaid Plan International

Hi, I am currently in Indonesia and would like to know if I can use my AT&T prepaid here to receive calls from my bank. I believe there's no plan that can covers calls from Indonesia and I don't mind paying pay per use, I just want to know if it will work. I haven't turn on the roaming on my phone yet and my phone shows 'no service' at the top. If I turn the roaming, would it work?

Nope. Prepaid does not roam internationally except Canada, Mexico and select European countries. Prepaid does not roam in Indonesia or anywhere else in Asia. If you have WiFi calling activated, that might work but no, you can’t roam.

Other than Canada and Mexico and the countries listed below you will have no service.

The European countries require a $35 per week roaming plan.

The only pay per use option is domestic, or Canada and Mexico for cheaper domestic plans.

As sandblaster has already told you, you are not eligible for any Roaming In Indonesia, your phone cannot work, and you will have no service

Hi @sandblaster thanks for the reply. so what you're saying is I wouldn't be able to receive any calls while on prepaid? I was a little confused on the AT&T prepaid website, it says I would be able to do a pay per use. Do you mind elaborate on that? thank you!

Again, prepaid does not roam in Indonesia. That means no service. No service means no calls.
