ATT not honoring the 55 for 100g hotspot plan
despite me having the plan on 2 other hotspot devices, i am told that att no longer will accept the plan. I have spent the last 2 days and 16hrs on the phone with several representatives that told me that i wasted my money because the plan has been canceled. But they continue to advertise it. DO NOT BUY THE PLAN, IT IS A SCAM.

The 100 Gig plan was discontinued several months ago. Having a $55 refill card does not buy a plan that doesn't exist. It can only purchase existing plans.

Yet they keeping advertising the 55 for 100g plan. Call they support line or view any plan advertisements, it is there being pushed like it is legitimate.
i purchased a couple of the netgear nighthawk hotspots with the promise of this plan. Neeedless to say, I'm very disgruntled. STOP TELLING LIES AND FALSE ADVERTISEMENTS. I honestly feel robbed. These hotspots were not cheap.

Where exactly are you seeing AT&T advertising that plan? Let's see it.
Their website very clearly says the $55 plan offers 50 GB.

I was also saw the 55+ plan with a hotspot for $50 after auto pay and paperless billing in 2021. I piped my phone and my number over from Verizon and after being with them two years from 2019. I had previously been a customer with AT&T for over 10 years and I knew of their shenanigans when they illegally merged my U-verse with my cellular in 2018 without my permission and it took three months of me being on the phone every day, and they finally had to create me a whole new account from the “back room“. They did this to thousands of other AT&T customers as I discovered when I went online. They also refused to honor a buy one get one free phone. I ended my service with U-verse in 2018 and never went back and I ended my service in 2019 and went to Verizon. I was having to use Wi-Fi because of the apartment I live in being an older one so in 2021 I was great tradition spent over 7 1/2 hours with for AT&T virtual sales reps who all told me that the Florida AT&T 55+ senior plan included a hotspot and was $50 after auto pay and paperless billing. I purposely spent all of these hours speaking to everyone of these sales reps and also receiving an email with correspondence from the person I actually bought the plan for verifying that this plan was $50. however, of course, the following day and ever since AT&T has refused to honor this sale. Even though I have ample evidence. Now since February 2023 I have had to go on the value plus plant which is $50 because I was informed in February that I never ever had a hotspot, which was when I was sold. I am now discovering that they discontinued this shortly after I purchased the plan without ever telling me and telling me from the very beginning that there was no such plan, although the sales people were still selling it. This among many other things including them illegally, taking money out of a credit card that I use to put down on an iPad. Wish I would’ve never ordered if I would’ve known that after 7 1/2 hours they would still say I was given miss information “, they took over 200 and some dollars out when I was going to cancel this plan and return the iPad in 2021 and after I discovered the text where they sent me stating they had taken this money out when I was still within the allotted time frame to return the item in an already told them that day, after being on the phone for 11 days trying to get them to honor , what they had sold me. They illegally took this money out of the credit card. I used as a down payment on the iPad. I tried to chat with people that entire night, but no one would respond. They were closed after I discovered the text. I stayed up till 8 AM the next morning and finally had a AT&T tech person look at the account and tell me that the they had done this to many other people , just as they do everything they’re not supposed to do illegally… And he refunded my money. I was well within the timeframe to return the iPad, and I had also told them that day I was going to do that, and I had not set up auto pay or paperless billing. So they illegally took this money. I have lost over 30 something pounds and was getting biopsies and so many test for over months and months when this happened and had to go swallow a capsule to look at my small intestine at my G.I. doctor that next day. Unfortunately because they had taken that money which I needed to pay 200 and some dollars for a co-pay to do this test , I had no sleep and went ahead and drove and did the test but I was too tired and exhausted for that that day and the next day to try to return the iPad within the allotted time frame. This is how they do this is how they use the bait and switch. I knew that they did this when I was a customer prior for over 10 years from 2009 to 2019 when they illegally merged my accounts and had notation stating that customer declined the offer, however, took three months of me, dealing with people in the Philippines Telling me I owed over four and $500 back pay but I did not for my bills I was caught up. So this is their game. I saw that they did this to thousands of other customers at the time when I research this online. Now they refuse to honor other items as well. Including the fact that I have had to go onto an inferior plan And I have made reports with FCC , etc. etc. and it has affected my health greatly ever since 2021 and also in 20 1718 and 19 when I was a previous customer and had to deal with it three months of them illegally merging my accounts which I discovered when I got a text saying they changed my email on the way to the emergency room where I had to stay in the hospital for two days and had to deal with it going to the Philippines. They state they cannot contact and communicate with one another. Their game endgame, for that was to actually scam customers and illegally merge their U-verse accounts with their AT&T cellular accounts and force them to deal with people in the Philippines, because she could not talk to anyone else and have six and seven page bills come to you in the mail stating that you were behind because they were trying to flee issue as usual. And of course they claim they could not communicate with one another. Which is the same thing that happened when I went back to them after 7 1/2 hours of speaking to four different sales representatives, selling me the senior citizen plan with a hotspot, high-speed, talk text and data in 2021 and then them turning around with the bait and switch even though I have an email stating that this was the price $50 and charged me $65 for almost 2 years and then lowered it to 60 and then I found out I never had a hotspot. This is totally insane, unprofessional, and illegal. I have filed with FCC , but they have still not admitted or taken any responsibility for all of the hardship. This has caused me and the acceleration in my health from being on the phone for literally hours and days and months of my life with AT&T. I cannot wait until I pay off my devices so that I can return to Verizon. I am seeking legal action against them. At this time. I have waited for them to respond to AT&T and to honor their contracts with me, including back to 2018, which included me having to deal with them for over three months as thousands of other customers did when they illegally merged their accounts and becoming a “new customer when I had been a loyal customer for over 10 years. This is outrageous and legal and moral and AT&T does not care about their customers. You literally have to be a millionaire or someone who has a whole lot of money in order to stay with AT&T. They have no integrity whatsoever. And I’ve noticed that since I went back to them, not only have their speeds gone down and you lose service constantly but also, they have no organization whatsoever and no one knows what the other person is doing. He will spend hours and months on the phone and yet they will continually tell you they’re taking notes and that they are making cases to rectify situation’s. That were their fault and yet they never do follow through. They believe they can get away with anything because they are so big and connected with other entities , I would suggest, and I would warn everyone never to fall for anything that AT&T sells you because they will never honor it. And like me a person who already has pre-existing serious health conditions as senior citizen alone a widow, who is on on disability, I don’t need this in my life. And I am seeking financial restitution for the escalated health issues that dealing with these people have caused since 2018 and after going back to them and then lying again doing the bait and switch in 2021.
