Cannot login to HBO Max

HBO max is included in my selected plan, however when I log into HBO max with same login info, or through service provider, it says my HBO Max Subscription has expired through ATT but it hasn’t.

Hello Community,

This issue is usually caused when a customer has multiple products with AT&T that were getting HBO included, and one went away.  For example, if you had wireless and DirecTV, you may have had HBO Max included with both of them.  However, you may have lost that bonus for one or the other product based on your plan or promotion expiring.  This can cause confusion in the system.

To resolve, please log out of all of your devices that use HBO Max. 

  • Go to your HBO Max Account by clicking on your username (on laptop/PC) or settings (on phone).
  • Choose "Manage Devices"
  • Choose  "Sign All Devices Out"   

Once all HBO Max enabled devices are logged out, then try logging in with only the product you currently get HBO Max included with.  If you have DirecTV with HBO Max, use your DirecTV login.  If you get HBO Max with our unlimited wireless plan, use your AT&T login.

Can you please provide more information about your service that you have HBO Max included with? The reason why e need to know that is, so we can have the proper team support you. 

 

You can get HBO MAX with in the following ways: 

  • AT&T Wireless (Unlimited Elite)
  • AT&T Internet 1000
  • DirecTV (Choice and above)
  • DirecTV Stream (Choice and above)

If you DirecTV or DirecTV Steam, you will need to make a new post on the DirecTV Forums Community

 

Please update us with your service type and we get the ball rolling on its way to a resolution.

You are trying to download the HBO MAX app online with an APK file from that website. Whether it be an older version or modified one, that’s likely the culprit. Go to the Google Play Store on your device and download HBO MAX there.
