Anyone actually get an hbo max deal?
When I check my account I always see that they have a deal for hbo max or a promo for it but when u check the price it is not a deal but the same price as if I went to hbo max without being a direct TV customer. It bothers me that they claim it is a deal/promo when the price is the exact same!!! False advertising is what that would be considered.

Hello @Justbehonest
Thank you for reaching out to us! We'd be more than happy to provide you with more information on our current HBO Max deals available.
Currently we have an HBO Max deal available where it is included upon your purchase of our Unlimited Elite Plan. Another plan includes HBO Max upon purchasing our AT&T TV Choice Plan. For more information on our Current Deals with HBO Max, feel free to access this link.
We hope this information was helpful and have a great day!

Yeah, typically it's included with many of the highest internet, TV or mobility plans.
Beyond that, it's typically $15/mo no matter how you sign up (TV provider or directly via a game console, etc.)
Now what you may be able to do is call DirecTV and ask for a promotional rate. I don't have DirecTV, but I know my provider will sometimes offer 3 months free. Failing that, maybe they'll give you a discount on your bill.
Just be sure to write down when those promotions end, as DirecTV will not remind you.

Nah, it’s still a scam. I have Unlimited Elite and I still don’t have HBOMax. No option anywhere to activate it (HBO says to “activate” it via the AT&T website or app), and when I follow the instructions online to sign in using my AT&T account (yes, the correct credentials for the Unlimited Elite account), I just get a “can’t verify your subscription” error. Lots of other folks with this issue too and AT&T has done nothing to address it.

I saw a post somewhere in the HBO Max forum 2-3 days ago. Someone posted a direct toll-free number (I think it was 1-866) and they claimed the issue was solved in "two bleeping seconds" or similar words.
It absolutely is not a scam. I did it for myself and one other person.

Someone in that thread claimed the 877 number worked for them. Obviously, I can't verify their claim and "your results may vary" but it could be worth a try.
