unblock a number

If you have Traditional Landline service with us, you can unblock a number by following these steps:

• Press *.
• Dial the 10-digit number you wish to remove.
• Press * to confirm.

If you have Digital Home Phone Service, you can press *80 to turn call blocking off. As our ACE stated previously, you can also manage call blocking online: 

Turn call blocking on or off

1. Go to account overview.
2. Select the Digital Phone card.
3. In My Voicemail & Phone features, choose Check or manage voicemail & features.
4. Under Call Filtering, select Call Blocking.
5. Select ON or OFF.

Heads up: Turning off call blocking won’t delete your list of numbers. You can start blocking calls again at any time.

Add or remove numbers from your blocked list
You can block up to 100 numbers.

1. In Call Blocking, enter the number you want to block in the Add Number field.
2. Select Add.
3. Select Save. Blocked callers will receive this message: The number you dialed will not accept your call. After the message, the call will end.

Good to know: To remove a number from the block list, select the X next to the number and then Save.

Huh? Why do you think her number is blocked? Her not being able to call your number does not necessarily mean it’s blocked. It could be a different issue. If the number really is blocked, someone had to have blocked it. How exactly did they block it?

If you have Digital Phone Service (VOIP), you can log onto your account online, see what numbers have been blocked and unblock any of your choosing.
