porting request for an old Indiana Bell TN
My prior TN since 1978, 5742594960 was ported from then Indiana Bell over to Comcast. Recently during a very confusing situation with Xfinity over a moving of services from Mishawaka Indiana over to Kokomo Indiana, Xfinity released my old number to the RND. I have learned that Indiana Bell id now listed as owner of that TN. Since AT&T took over Indiana Bell, Am I correct that AT&T should be able to allow porting the TN over to my VOIP carrier which is MagicJack?
Please advise if you will be able to help me!

Per other topics on this issue, if the account was closed and the number released it can't be ported. To port the account must be active.

Your only hope is Xfinity can get the number back and reactivate your account, which I doubt they can do.
