Landline Phone Issues

To Whom It May Concern,
I have been without service on my AT&T Landline phone for more than 48 hours. I have no dial tone, so can't call out or receive calls. I have tested all phones by unplugging all, & plugging all in. I have plugged a phone into the jack of the box outside my residence, & still receive no dial tone. Therefore, I am assuming that the issue is outside the residence. I have done AT&T Chat on 3 separate occasions, to no avail of having the problem resolved. Since I don't have an alternative way to contact AT&T, I need someone to contact the Repair department & set up a service call to my residence, at the earliest possible convenience. I have attempted to create a service call online at att.com/repair & keep getting an error message than there is an issue accessing my account, & to try again. After multiple unsuccessful attempts, I am reaching out to someone at AT&T to take the necessary measures to create a repair ticket & set up a service call to my residence asap. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This is a public user to user forum, not AT&T support. You'll need to go to a location you can call the main report number 800-288-2020 and make sure they understand this is a traditional landline, not digital service. It's possible @ATTHelp may offer a DM to help you, but you can't count on it.

I appreciate the information however I can't call out on my phone with no dial tone. I have no alternative way to contact AT&T other than the online chat. They keep telling me that the chat is only for the U-Verse customers, so they can't provide any help with landline service, since they are supposedly separate from AT&T landline service.

I went to the link for AT&T Help, however there is nowhere that I could find to ask a question. Although the person who is the main contributor has replied to specific comments. So how do I post a question?

They have to initiate the DM, you can't

I just received the notification of the above initial message from AT&T Help, stating that they would communicate through DM with me. Telling me what information to provide, However I have not received any other notifications to initiate the DM. I'm still awaiting that notification to show. If there is a way to access that notification, that I am not aware of, please advise instructions.

You can't initiate the DM as stated previously. You respond to their DM. Top right chat box by the bell

I have same experience. Just posted asking for help, advice.

When i call a number from my Landline i pickup someone it cross with another person this person being had this number for i can call her from the cell but my landline give me a message of the you are trying to reach is not accepting call please check the and try again

Report it to your phone carrier. I'm not real sure what you're even saying.
