Hooked up wires from base and tried to hook them up to a jack to see if I could get a dial tone!

Not!   Hooked the jack to the Cat5 wires from a solid ORANGE wire and nothing.  Did the same thing with a solid Blue line and nothing.  There are two bridge like looking things with the number 0F26L0.  The green side looks like a "board" and the other side has white plastic inserts to put all the Cat5 wires.  So since I did not get a dial tone going from the Blue and Orange wire I assume the wires have to be hooked up to the white connectors that shows all the 8 colors for Cat5 wiring.  And cannot figure out anything past this configuration.  I have photos but do not see a place here to show them!  And still have two dead wall plugs where the wires must have been cut by Comcast?  So do all the wires have to get connected to the bridge in some way?  If so, I think the $99 for a service call may be worth it to get everything back to normal.  Let me know if I am missing a place to upload photos?  I say THANKS!

Please keep all post in this topic you started don't start a new topic for each question. Still waiting for pictures in your original topic. Would someone close this as a duplicate topic? Personally, I think if you can't figure out how to navigate the forum you won't have the ability to follow instructions given for your wiring.

See This topic. Is this the jack you're talking about? If so that's an AT&T branded jack sometimes called a smart jack and not really needed. This topic explains the wiring.
