obtaining detailed call records

I'm being told I cannot get a copy of my detailed call records for a traditional landline w/o a supoena. I need said records for a small claims court action. I was informed this morning that no attorneys are allowed in small claims court, and I have no intention of hiring one. They also told me that they don't issue supoenas. It's ridiculous that I cannot get a copy of the records for a service I'm paying for. Does anyone have any other information on this situation?
