Landline cost
Has anyone else's landline phone gone so ridiculously expensive?!?! Mine is $101/month now!!!! I can't afford this much longer. This is crazy!!!! Just for a simple landline phone!!!! And sidenote: AT&T internet is not available in my area. So going fiber optic or anything like that isn't an option for me since I can't get it here.

If you have a good cell phone signal check into a wireless home phone, several carriers have them. AT&T doesn't have a standalone version. Mine is 30 bucks taxes and all.

My traditional phone bill keeps going higher and higher. I want to at least have long distance calling removed from my plan, but cannot find any option on this website for that. Guess I'll have to call. I keep my landline phone for emergency use. Cell phones are pretty reliable, but not 100% reliable in my experience. Everything electronic is getting outrageously expensive. There are no companies that are less expensive than the others in the long run. Between electricity, gasoline, food, health care, and phone service I can hardly afford to live anymore and my husband and I have good incomes.
