California Storms:Getting Billed And I Didn't have Telelphone Service
I received an ATT bill for 152.80 cents or so for March; 95.00 is past due, however as a result of the storms in California during January and February I had no service. The service was restored on March 16, 2023 (this past Thursday). I would like the two months I didn't receive service removed from my bill

Call Billing and see what they say. This is a customer populated forum only. It is not AT&T Support.

The billing system does not know your service was out. As suggested, you need to call to get credit for the time service was out. You apparently didn’t pay a bill so that may complicate the issue.

Call AT&T and request a credit for time without service for a known outage. Such credits are not normally proactive, you must make the call. Being past due, they may require you to catch your bill up before you are allowed to speak to an agent. This is why one should discuss a billing concern instead of just ignoring it and refusing to pay the bill.
If you cannot get resolution over the phone (even through a supervisor), then you may need to file a BBB complaint. That would send it to the corporate level for further review.
As mentioned, this is a public forum of other customers so we cannot submit any dispute for you.

So what does that mean? Are you saying you have called and they won’t credit you for when the service was out? The only reason they wouldn’t credit you is if the outage was not their fault. So why exactly was service out?

Sandblaster I cannot make it any clearer. Juniper I hope it works; that's what I'll try

Yes, you could. A simple yes or no to this question “Are you saying you have called and they won’t credit you for when the service was out?” would have been much clearer and if the answer is yes, there must be a reason for not providing credit which you have not shared.

I've received a remedy through ATT; they've promised to give me a credit for the months with no service
