Autopayment

I set up my auto pay before and never took place. I tried today again, but the system is not accepting my information even when everything is CORRECT.

Why is AT&T such a pain???

We're here to assist with setting up your Auto-pay, @Maggie44!

Let's have you try these things to see if it helps:

Performing these steps can help us identify if it's a site issue or a device issue.

If you are still unable to apply the Auto-Pay after trying the steps above, let us know! This way we can try some more personalized troubleshooting for your situation.

I have only one laptop I use everyday. I cleared all cache and cookies.  I use Chrome and is the best for me.

Thank you,

T. Creo

Thanks for sharing that information with us @Maggie44

We'd suggest trying to set up AutoPay on a different web browser to if see you still receive the same message that it's not accepting your information. Also, check out our information to make sure that you are setting up AutoPay correctly:

  1. Go to AutoPay. Sign in, if asked.
  2. Select the account you want to sign up for AutoPay, if you have multiple accounts.
  3. Toggle AutoPay On.
  4. Follow the prompts to finish signing up.
  5. Repeat these steps for each account you want to pay automatically.

If you have our traditional landline service, then we'll need for you to reach out to our representatives at 1-800-288-2020 if you still can't get your AutoPay set up after trying the above steps.

Unfortunately, It did not work but also I was offered a special price after I signed with ACP Program. However, AT&T has been having issues with their automated system, and is not getting paid. So, I received an email every month indicating payment was not received and charge me a late fee. Every month I have been visiting the website and calling to figure it out, but they were unable to solve the problem and kept charging me a late fee, when it is only their own fault.

So, instead of paying the low fee established by the ACP, now I have to pay like $20  more every month!!!!

Refund the money they took from me and fix the problem, so the automated payments can be reestablished again, so I don't have to pay every month as I am doing now.
