Expansion Handset Compatible with DLP 72362
Just purchased the DLP 72362, base w/ handset & 2 expansion handsets.
Would like to purchase more handsets. Which ones would work best?

Get the same ones that came with it. Either look under the battery for the model number or check the manual, easily found online.

Done and did that. No Joy! That's what lead me here.

All I can find is the quick start guide. Call the number in the guide for accessories or check the Website. Can't believe the model number isn't under the battery on the handset, that unusual. Have no idea what is meant by "No Joy", no joy for what?

The dlp 70090 looks exactly like the handsets that come with the dlp 72362. But I don't know if the 72362 is actually expandable or not. I have not gotten an answer from product support yet.

I was unable to find the lp 70012 handset on the at7t site. I am waiting on a response.
When I searched the at&t site for the dlp 70012 number I got this list of items:
https://www.att.com/search/?q=dlp+70012
The dlp 70090 is one of the items that came up. I am still waiting on a response from at&t.

I have a feeling that the 70012 number is either the old model number that 70090 superseded / replaced or the new model number that superseded / replaced the 70090. Or it is the internal model / part number for all of the handsets that they used for all of the models on the page that I linked.
The 70090 handset comes up when you search the At&t site for the dlp 70012 so there is some kind of correlation there.
But I think the key is the serial number of the unit that tells the user whether or not the base will accept additional handsets or not. It's hard to tell. Simpler just to buy a set with the number of handsets you want and avoid the confusion altogether. It also seems to be cheaper than buying a base and adding handsets.

It might come up, but doesn't show as compatible, says compatible with the 73X90 series not the 72xxx
