I am getting the Can't Verify Your Subscription

I am trying to log in using Chrome browser on a mac book pro.  I am signing in through the ATT provider using my phone number and password.  It worked fine yesterday and today Im getting the error.  My wife just signed in using the same method on her mac book pro and signed in just fine.  Ive cleared caches, cookies etc. Please help

We want to help you access your HBO Max subscription, @dubminus.

Since your log in credentials appear to be working fine, we have a few more recommendations we'd like you to try to help improve your browsing experience:

Clear all browser tabs. ~ You may not notice this, but you may have 1-50 tabs open. This can negatively impact your experience. Closing them may help.

  • At the top right of the tab, click Close Close. Or, use the keyboard shortcut for Mac ⌘ + w

Try using an incognito browser. ~ This known to be the workaround for surfing mishaps.

  • On your computer, open Chrome.
  • At the top right, click MoreNew Incognito Window.
  • A new window appears. In the top corner, check for the Incognito icon

Try using a different browser. ~ Sometimes the browser itself is the cause and not the connection or the device. Testing another browser is a helpful step.

If none of the above helps, we'll need a little more information to assist you further:

  • What is your service and plan type? Sharing this will allow us to come up with a more personalized solution.
  • Are you able to sign in to your AT&T account? If not, you may need to reset your password by clicking the "Forgot Password" link on the sign in page.

If this is related to an AT&T wireless or Internet account, then this error may be indicating that you need to set up your plan for HBO Max.

If you have a TV subscription, try removing your TV provider in your settings menu.

  • To do this on your iOS device, go to Settings > TV Provider and choose Remove TV Provider. Now, open HBO Max and try signing in again.

Please keep us updated on how this works for you!
