HBOMAX Email Verification

After speaking to over 22 ATT agents and 1 HBOMAX agent (via phone, tweet, and online chat), over 12 hours of my life, and 8 "escalated tickets" -- I am not closer to any solution.

Signed up for the internet package -- 1000mpbs - get HBOMAX for free.

No matter what steps we take:

  • Changing email
  • Changing passwords
  • Logging in on different devices (PC, Laptop, iPad, iPhone, TV, PS4, Hulu, etc.) 
  • Clearing Cookies
  • Trying different Web browsers ( Chrome, Safari, Edge)

We get the SAME Error message: 

Can’t Verify Your Subscription
Make sure you’re using the ID and password for the AT&T service associated with HBO Max™ Confirm that you activated your HBO Max account with AT&T at https://www.att.com/myatt Still having trouble: Find answers in our FAQ at https://www.att.com/hbomaxHelp

Based on the information you provided, we will need to bring you into a DM to further assist you. 

 

In the meantime, we have some information to help troubleshoot HBOMAX sign in issues. Scroll down to the Have AT&T service that includes HBO section to confirm you are using the correct log in information.

 I have continued my journey down the rabbit hole to seek any solution or even ownership to my problem and have now spoken to 27 ATT agents and 3 HBOmax agents and haven got any closer to resolution. Any agent I have dealt with has either said: this isn't our department and I get transferred and I have to explain everything over again because no one has access to check any of the open tickets  OR the agent blames HBOMAX but HBOMAX can't even see any of my ID's that I  have attempted to use after ATT has told me to change them (HBOMAX can't fix what doesn't exist) This would be almost comical if wasn't really happening.
