Where does digital life store the video it records from the security cameras?

From my app I see that only 250MB of video gets stored. That is rather small. Is there a way to expand this storage? Where does the video get saved? Is it on the cloud or on the local controller itself. Is the camera feed constantly being uploaded to the internet? The digital life controller is connected to my local network via Ethernet.

I’ve been hitting my ISP data caps lately  and am trying to identify potential sources of issues.

Good morning,

Your recorded video is securely stored in the cloud. You can expand your storage by contacting us at 1-855-288-2727. The Digital Life agent will also be able to answer your other data related questions.

Thank you for your valued service.

Is the live video feed continuously being uploaded to the internet or does it only happen when the feed is accessed from outside of the home network?

The live feed is only active when you access the camera from the Digital Life app. The feed will continue for as long as you have the camera stream open in the app.

Thanks
