Remove Digital life from purchased home

I just bought a house that is fully wired for Digital life: cameras, thermostats, DLC 200. I don't know the name or account number of the previous owner and that I can't use the equipment without providing that for the transfer. So how do I remove the equipment? Will I be able to use new thermostats with the Digital life wiring?

@warriorcat

Hello,

Congratulations on the purchase of your home.

Digital Life does not remove the equipment because it is owned by you. You can remove the equipment yourself or hire a qualified handyman or contractor to uninstall the equipment. Your thermostat should be connected to your HVAC system, not Digital Life wiring. You should consult an HVAC professional regarding a new thermostat.

The posting is factual. My option given AT&T apparently doesn't work there, which is a  shame, free money being free money.

Anybody using AT&T Digital Life for home security? As, I’m looking in to new home security and has wondering if anyone tried AT&T service?

Yes, DigitalLife works fine in broadband-only mode. Would be nice if AT&T would continue to support it.
