WiFi calling
My WiFi calling won’t work at home. I have super strong Xfinity WiFi and work online constantly no problem. Our smart TV also works fine, so it is NOT my WiFi.
but I noticed when at a friends house my AT&T WiFi calling was on.
why would it worked when logged onto one WiFi but not another?
Is it because I have cellular service bars at home. The reception (Edited per community guidelines) even though I sometimes have 3 or 4 bars showing. But it doesn’t say 5G.

Hello @JahZilla, we'd love to help you with getting your Wi-Fi Calling actively working while in your home.
Be aware, to use AT&T Wi-Fi Calling, your Wi-Fi device must be able to communicate with the AT&T network. If your router’s configuration has been updated, or you’re using a firewall, you may have to update your router settings to support AT&T Wi-Fi Calling.
Also, for the best performance, always update modems, routers, and switches to the latest software/firmware versions available. Updates can typically be found on the equipment manufacturer’s website.
We'd also suggest for you to follow these steps, as a reset for Wi-Fi calling by disabling/enabling the feature:
In the meantime, be sure to provide us with the make and model of your device so that we're able to provide additional support.
We hope this answers your question and thanks for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums for help.
