We understand how important it is to stay connected using Wi-Fi calling. Wi-Fi Calling is turned on as part of the activation process. To use Wi-Fi Calling, you'll need:
A Wi-Fi internet connection.
A compatible AT&T Wireless device or AT&T Prepaid device with Wi-Fi turned on and an eligible plan.
An AT&T Wireless or AT&T PREPAID account set up for HD Voice.
When your phone is connected to Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Calling is on, and when cellular connection is unavailable or poor, you'll see the Wi-Fi Calling icon in the Notification bar to indicate that calls will be carried over Wi-Fi.
From the home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers then select the Settings icon.
Select Network & internet, then select Wi-Fi Calling.
Select the Wi-Fi Calling switch to enable Wi-Fi calling.
Review the Wi-Fi Calling prompt, then scroll to and select Continue. Enter your emergency address, then scroll to and select Verify address.

Is your device an AT&T branded device? If not, you may want to view our list of compatible devices to see if your device is listed by the make a model. Some non branded devices are unable to use certain features on our network.
