Velocity Data Bar Not Working
Is there any progress being made to fix the problem of the Velocity data bar not working with the latest software update? An exchange unit under warranty did nothing to fix the problem. Neither did a visit to the local AT&T store. AT&T says they are working with ZTE to resolve the problem, but in talking with ZTE personnel, am not sure this is really happening. Have not had Velocity data bar for about a month and am uncertain work is being done to resolve the issue. Can you at least tell customers what is being done and when a solution is expected?

I’m sorry to hear about your hotspot not working after the update! I understand how important it is to have your device working properly. I will be delighted to help get this straightened out.
After doing some further research, it looks like we are working with ZTE to find a resolution to this issue. In the meantime, I recommend performing a Factory Data Reset on the device. You can find the steps as well as diagrams, by going to our Device Support Page and selecting your make and model. Once on the next page, please select View All Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot > Reset. This will correct any software issues currently going on with the device.
