(svc_mssi_be_failure) when trying to number sync Galaxy Watch 5

Tried number syncing my new Galaxy Watch 5 with my S20FE. The process has driven me absolutely insane. I've gone through about 5 different people on the phone and countless hours later nobody has been able to tell me what that error code is or how to fix it. It's sickening how much money I've spent only to not be able to use the watch as intended with this feature.

We are here to help you set up NumberSync your Galaxy Watch 5 with your S20FE, @Cameron95.

Let's start by clearing the cache and cookies on your browser. While cookies help make your internet surfing experience a little better and quicker, sometimes they can bog things down. You can refresh your browser by clearing the browsing data, which includes your cookies, cache, and history.

If you have a PC running Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Edge:

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete.
  3. Select the items you want to clear.
  4. Select the Delete, OK, Clear, or Clear data button, depending on your browser type.
  5. Close and reopen your browser.

Before you begin setting up NumberSync, make sure:

  • Bluetooth is turned on for both your wearable and your smartphone.
  • You have paired your smartphone and wearable using the Samsung pairing process.
  • You have an active wireless plan for your wearable
  • You have a NumberSync user ID for your wearable.

To set up NumberSync from the galaxy wear app:

  1. Open the Galaxy Wear app on your smartphone.
  2. Tap Settings and then Mobile Plans.
  3. Choose AT&T NumberSync, then Get Started.
  4. Tap Sync Watch.
  5. Check your watch for a Sync Code.
  6. Enter the Sync Code in the app (if it doesn’t automatically enter it for you).

You also want to make sure you are on the latest software version. Get the latest device software to make sure you have the latest features and device protection options.

If you are still unable to connect, visit our Wireless Support. Select Get suggestions. Next, choose your device type which is located under change device. Lastly, go to Services>Device pairing (NumberSync). You'll be provided with personalized solutions based off the requested details specific to your experience.

Try this and let us know how it goes. We look forward to your response.
