Yes it is available but you must have your mobile data turned on and you do need internet access to use the application. The only requirements are postpaid account with HD Voice (VOLTE) enabled. The J3 supports VOLTE so it can use Call Protect.

@gemmagalgani

If you are on a Gophone account you cannot use call protect, but you can try some apps.

DU Caller

Hiya

The settings on DU caller can restrict calls to contacts only and seems to work better than Hiya, but has to have annoying pop ups fixed.  Try them both.

Call Protect is actually based on Hiya's technology and caller ID database it appears. I don't trust anything by DU personally because they're one of those companies that make all those battery and phone booster type apps....

Which are absolute trash. Terrible ad networks and basically snake oil. CleanMaster, DU Battery, CM Security, etc. I never use apps from companies that make these types of apps. But yeah if you're on GoPhone and can't use Call Protect...Hiya is a good app to use. It auto-rejects calls so it's not network side blocking.

Neither works as well as Call Protect.  Which I was able to add to my non ATT phones with the help of an ATT branded phone.  It took several hours, but I've had no spam calls for several days.

Liz that'll work until provisioning does a sweep and inserts the IMEI and removes VOLTE. Unfortunate I know but it may happen.
