We understand how important it is to be able to see who the incoming calls are coming from, @Hunnibee.
AT&T Caller ID displays the name or number of you and your callers when making and receiving wireless calls.
All AT&T wireless voice plans include outgoing Caller ID at no additional charge. But only an AT&T Unlimited Premium, Elite, and Extra plan lets you always see who’s calling you on incoming calls (when listed). Other carriers’ limitations may affect Caller ID when used while roaming.
Also, do you have ActiveArmor Mobile Security Advance mobile app? For $3.99 a month you are able to have access to our ActiveArmor Mobile Secuity mobile app that includes all the feautres the basic app offers plus:
You may also visit our Wireless Support page for some troubleshooting steps to see if that helps. We do recommend clicking Sign In for personalized steps.
Let us know if you have ActiveArmor Advance and one of the plans listed above and you are still unable to use the caller ID feature. We look forward to your response, so we can work together to get this resolved!

Hello @Hunnibee, we can help you with your Caller ID showing a name for your calls.
The Caller ID feature is included with the AT&T ActiveArmor Mobile Security Advanced app for the Unlimited Premium & Extra plan. Our AT&T Unlimited Starter plan only has the basic features of the app. Therefore, we recommend downloading the ActiveArmor Mobile Security app to get the Caller ID feature.
If you need any assistance with the ActiveArmor mobile security app, check out our article on how to fix any AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security app concerns. Which highlights how to check for app updates on the Google/Apple App store and reinstalling the app to get the latest app version.
Let us know if this helps! Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums!

Sounds like the ActiveArmor mobile security app would only work on mobile phones. Is there any help for caller ID on landlines?

Caller ID only shows what’s in the caller ID database. If there is no name attached to a number, they can’t show a name. Some people hide their caller ID, for legit or non-legit reasons. Also, a lot of robocalls are spoofed using unassigned cell numbers. Again, no caller ID.
Also, Active Armor doesn’t do any better with showing caller ID that what normally pops up on the phone, for the same reason.
