2 numbers on one phone
We had two AT&T business land lines and transferred to two iphone 12s, but I want both numbers to ring on each phone? I have tried call forwarding and that does not work. Can this be done?

Hello @clhulett , we're happy to help with information about converting your SIM to a eSIM.
Converting to a eSIM allows some devices with eSIM capabilities to support more than one phone number. A dual SIM phone is one that can have two active numbers, plans, or accounts. You get this convenience on one device because it has two separate SIMs.
Good to know: Some dual SIM devices are really Dual SIM, Dual Standby devices. With these, both SIMs can be active at the same time. Want to know more? Go to Device Support and choose your device. Select Device info and look for Dual SIM.
Ready to activate your device? To complete activation of an eSIM for AT&T Wireless, make sure it’s on an active plan, then download it over Wi-Fi.
We're here if you have any questions. Thank you for reaching out to our AT&T Community.

We just purchased two new iPhone 12s from AT&T for work and I requested they be setup for 2 lines on each phone, but I don't believe my iPhone 12 has Dual SIM. I am not seeing the option to choose a line under the cellular plan. So now, what do I need to do? I really need to be able to receive calls from both numbers on each phone.

Hello @clhulett, we can get your Dual SIM device up and running with these steps.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to:
• Set up eSIM
• Manage cellular plans
• Switch cellular plan for phone call
• Switch cellular plan for message
• Erase eSIM
If you are trying to find your EID for your associated eSIM, view the Find IMEI & Serial number tutorial.
Some dual SIM devices are really Dual SIM, Dual Standby (DSDS) devices. With these, both SIMs can be active at the same time.
Let us know if this works for you.

I have found the 2 IMEI numbers on my phone. The IMEI2 is under the available SIM. There is also numbers in the EID spot. I am on an active AT&T wireless plan, but I don't understand how to download an eSIM and activiate it.

I see an option to convert to eSIM on my phone? What does this do, and will it allow me to add the other phone line to this phone?
