Verification code texts are not coming through
I just switched to AT&T today on an iPhone 14 and I am not able to receive verification texts for any apps. I can receive all other sms texts with no issue. This problem persists across all apps that require verification codes. I’ve restarted my phone, verified my blocked list and turned off and on filter unknown texts.

Hello Pathces0915! We understand the frustration in not receiving the verification code texts.
This can happen if you recently switched from an Android to an iPhone, or recently switched carriers. To start back receiving the verification codes in text messages, simply send the word "Help" to the code you are wanting to receive from. You should receive a message back advising how to opt back in.

Same issue I am experiencing. I have been with att for over ten years so not just now switching to you guys. For about two weeks none of my verification codes have been coming through on any apps. And you wouldn’t have to “opt back in” when they send the verification code because on the apps it says sending code to whatever number you put in. So I don’t understand how that could even help. And also like previous people have said if we arnt receiving the texts to begin with how could we respond “help” to them. I have seen multiple other forms complaining about the same thing from att. I hope you guys actually fix this issue because now I cannot log into any app including my banking app.

I thought I had it fixed but it started again today and it was a banking app as well this is insane

I had to get with my husband to figure out the numbers they were coming from in order to do this fix. But once I was able to fix one of them they all started coming through. Thankfully, it was not a one by one thing. This really needs to be fixed though because the only reason I was able to fix it is by having someone in my household with the same banking.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G. I can no longer receive verification codes from my bank or my investment company. I also have a new problem, I could not receive or phone a new contact tonight. I could text the number and the individual received the text. I receive a "Call ended" message immediately.
Are the problems caused by the latest ATT update???????????? send a detailed instructions to correct the problem for my Samsung phone.

I downloaded an update, and now everything seems work.. I am getting verification codes as before. my problem seems to be fixed
