Unable to receive messages from my foreign bank

Good afternoon

I am currently in the US and I cannot receive any messages from my banks which I need in order to access my account with them. I have all the international adds on I could add but still nothing. I made sure my iPhone is also the latest version and that my roaming is on. I don't know what else to do

What does that mean? I do not work at At&t if that's what your asking. But At&t is my phone operator in the US

Have you verified that your Bank can text to US phone numbers. I have to add +1 when texting or calling back to the US when overseas.

We're happy to help with tips to start receiving short code SMS messages.@MauroBianchi.

 

Let's start by resetting your network settings to refresh your connection to the network.

 

Notification bar, then select the Settings icon > scroll to and select General management > select Reset > Reset network settings > Reset settings > select Reset to confirm.

 

If you're using AT&T Call Protect to block unwanted/unidentified numbers check the block number list and unblock the short code numbers if you see them. Here's how: 

    1. Open the app and go to Block tab (red circle with slash through it)
    2. Find the short code
    3. Select Unblock 

If your network settings are reset and you have confirmed that the numbers are not on the Call protect blocked list. Try the following steps to enable Short code SMS messages. 

  • Make sure your device is up to date. Learn how to check.
  • Check to make sure the number is not blocked.
    • Visit our Device Support Pagefor other helpful troubleshooting steps for text messaging issues.
    • Select the make and model of your device
    • Go to the tutorial for block messages under Tutorials > Email & messaging.
  • In most devices, you can allow Premium messages through Settings > Applications > Application Manager > Messages > Send Premium Messages. You want to make sure that either “Never Ask” or “Ask” is checked (and not “Never Allow”).
  • Do a quick test to see if you are receiving any other Short Codes.
    • An easy test is to call *3282# like you're making a call. You should receive a free text message from our short code about your data usage.
    • If you have prepaid service with us, use *777# to receive a text back with your account and feature balances.
    • If you do not receive a text back, there may be an issue with text messaging on your phone. Try rebooting it and possibly resetting it.

Hello @ATTHelp my IPhone doesn’t have such application settings. I did get a message when I typed *777# but I do not get messages from my bank. Unfortunately my Apple Store is Italian so I can’t download the AT&T protection apps. What else could I do?

Hello AT&T! I am experiencing the exact same issue as MauroBianchi and as a result I cannot access my bank (I'm from Spain). Is there any way to solve this?

I am an ATT customer and also can't receive messages form the bank. I have the international plan and went through resetting the network already. Is there a way to fix this issue?
