Secure Family App used to allow location tracking of the phones on my account without pairing. How can I do that now?
How can I see the locations of the phones on my family plan without pairing them to the secure family app?
I have been using, and paying for this Secure Family App for several years. I never had to paid my kids phones with the app to look at the phone location in the app. But now, with the app update, it looks like I have to pair my kids phones and make them install the app. I don't want to pair my 18 year olds phone, I just want the feature back that used to be there so I can check the phone location from time to time.
Bring back this functionality that I have been paying for!

Hello @billlybeaker, thank you for reaching out to AT&T Community Forums. We understand your inconvenience, Let's get the information you need.
As per the new update, you'll need to add the Secure Family Companion app to your child's devices, so your device can be paired with it. Send an invitation to your child's device via an Email or SMS. Alternatively, you can also scan the QR code with your child's device.
We no longer have that feature in this new version of the secure family application. You will have to wait for the latest update.

What if we didn’t cancel and when we went to log in it just made us start over ?
I have a log in for my legacy account that it did not ask me for when I went to log in

AT&T canceled mine without authorization. I received a text the other day just stating that it had been canceled. I did not authorize this and now I am unable to locate my oldest. We do not with to install the app as we just want to share location. What is the solution here? New to AT&T and this is frustrating.

Thank you I sent them an email today. I hope this gets resolved since I did not authorize AT&T to cancel my service. The network location service is a very important feature to us parents and as we all know most kids will end up deleting the app off of their phones at some point. I had this service with my previous wireless company for years and never had this issue. I love my service so far and I am hoping this issue gets resolved.
