I can not turn on Hotspot in my mobile. It is showing "to enable personal Hotspot on this account, contact AT&T"

Hello @Sayantani97, hope you're doing well, if the "Hotspot and Tethering" option is greyed out, it may be due to some settings on your phone or restrictions from your carrier. Try the following:

  1. Restart your phone and see if the option becomes available.

  2. Check if your phone has any pending software updates and install them if available.

  3. Check if any apps on your phone may be interfering with the hotspot feature. Try booting your phone in Safe Mode and see if the hotspot option becomes available.

You can also perform some troubleshooting on your device. Just click the change device link on the top left and select internet and mobile hotspots.


If none of these steps work, you may need to contact the manufacturer of your device for further assistance.
