Error invalid number when I send text messages, 121611611
My text messages are being rejected from several of my contacts, and each time I get a message: Error invalid number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit number. But I know the numbers are valid. Looking for ways to fix this glitch. I already rebooted the Samsung S22 phone and reset my network settings.

Have you tried deleting the contacts having issues from your phone and readding them?

Thanks for that suggestion, but it didn't address the problem. Any other ideas?

Try entering one of those contact’s 10 digit number manually instead of sending to the contact. If the manually entered number works, that suggests something wrong with the contact or perhaps some phone setting that automatically adds something to those contacts.

Hi there @klausmagoo.
Thanks for reaching out to us. We can certainly understand how frustrating it is to be unable to send a message. It would a pleasure to assist you with the invalid number error occurring on your Samsung S22.
The cause of this issue can possibly stem from the device retaining the +11 digits in memory.
To fix this issue, we advise deleting the SMS thread that the error occurs on and start a new thread to correct the issue.
This error can also occur if you have Advanced Messaging enabled on your device, and you may need to disable the feature. Check for additional information, please visit our Advanced Messaging support page for more help.
If deleting/restarting the text thread and disabling Advanced Messaging does not work, please proceed to troubleshoot your device.
If your issue is still not resolved, please reach back out to us.

You should also try deleting any group messages those contacts may have been a part of.
