Data Roaming with Unlimited Premium Plan

We are traveling to Costa Rica and subscribe to the Unlimited Premium Plan which includes unlimited phone, text and data. What is the proper setting for cellular data roaming (on or off)? We do not want to get charged any unexpected fees.
