Hi,
Am I correct to assume what you are suggesting is unlocking the old phone? Problem: The old phone is not functioning (does not turn on, practically gone). The data is not lost, and I am sure it is backed up somewhere because it came through to the new phone the first time, but then it went away (restoring and transferring data - without the old phone - took multiple attempts because there were some things there and other things missing, and each attempt I had to go back to the very beginning).
