Is it true: One America News being dropped from AT&T?

Read tonight in Wall Street Journal that Direct will no longer carry One America News.  If true this is a very sad state of affairs.  Not only does OAN do a great job of covering world news, it also airs complete coverage of many events that other networks do not.  I suspect this is yet another example of silencing and censoring what information the American public has access to.  Very disappointed in Directv.  Probably time to look for a different programming provider.

I you Cancel OAN you will lose me forever and that goes for thousands of us... Same thing for AT&T

A recently received email from DirecTV indicates that One American News Network will be dropped from the channel lineup as of April 4th.  This has drawn considerable attention from the masses as viewed online and by speaking with a DirecTV representative.  Five Attorneys General have also submitted a letter to AT&T expressing their concern over the silencing of speech.  

AT&T needs to renew the contract with OAN.  I am one of many that will terminate my service and pursue the termination of other business services with AT&T due to their censorship.

Renew the contract now!

AT&T sold off 30% of their ownership in DirecTV so any decisions made about content are made by DirecTV, not AT&T. The decision given by DirecTV was declining viewership and revenue. Whatever the reason, it's been a done deal for months now. OAN is not coming back.

I hadn't heard about the AG's submitting letters of complaint to AT&T but if they did, it's not AT&T that they should have addressed their letters to.

Verizon and CenturyLink still carry OAN, and one other provider so you can switch to them.

I see you will not be carrying  OAN One America News as an option for your Att-U-verse channels.  I am re-evaluating who my cable provider will be.  Promoting Communist cancel culture ideas and big tech suppression is un-American and the majority of Americans will not stand for this.  Removing a news station because the left wing people don’t like it is flat out wrong.  Cancel culture can work both ways.

OANN is being definitely being dropped from the DIRECT TV lineup and MAY get dropped from Uverse if negotiations fail.

There is currently no official announcement concerning UverseTV & OANN.

OTOH, have fun paying for Disney-owned channels no matter where you go. I'd suggest Hulu.

The AT&T umbrella (U-Verse, DirecTV, etc.) decided to not renew the carriage agreement. If you want it, seek elsewhere.

Also if you have U-Verse TV, well that is no longer being offered, so only remains for existing customers. Unknown how long it will continue to run.

AFAIK, OAN's sister channel is only available on Verizon FiOS which overlaps with U-Verse only in a very small part of the country.

I am very disappointed that you chose to remove OAN from your line up. Being able to watch OAN was the only reason that I have stayed with AT&T, and as you can see by my account number, I have been a customer for quite a while.

I will now be dumping your overpriced service, and slow internet speed, Spectrum may not have OAN ether, but I will be able to watch OAN LIVE on a faster connection.

I am very upset you have cut off my favorite channel - OANN.  You keep raising my rates and now you cut off one of only 3 channels I even watch.  I should get of my chair and cut you out.  GIVE ME BACK OANN!!!!!

It is true.  It and AWE were just cut off at midnight 4-5-22.  It is my favorite channel and I just may cut off AT&T U-verse because of it!  My friends & relatives with Direct tv are saying the same thing.

For all those posting that the cancellation of OANN is a direct tv issue & tells us to go elsewhere, it may be a direct tv issue but IT IS ALSO AN AT&T UVerse issue because I subscribe to U-verse & they just cut off OANN at midnight 4-5-22.  I am very upset & will be moving elsewhere if they don’t put OANN & AWE back on immediately.

Put OANN & AWE back on air ASAP or I will find another cable company that has my favorite station.  And don’t even think about taking off Fox Or Newsweek either.  You can remove CNN, MSNBC anytime - they have the worst ratings!!

OANN also has recently launched a live stream service like Fox Nation, maybe we should all go live stream and drop all AT&T TV services and go internet only, wonder if they will miss that extra $150 a month if we all did that......
