can't find my channel

I can't believe a corporation like AT&T  doesn't believe in Freedom of Speech.  Bed Bath & Beyond is going out of business.

They removed My Pillow from their retail stores.  AT&T do you really want to go out of business?

Do the right thing and bring back Newsman, what are you afraid of?

Newsman? Don't you mean Newsmax? Newsmax pulled their feed because they wanted to start charging AT&T (DirecTV, U-verse) and exorbitant fee to carry their channel whereas they didn't charge them before. Negotiations collapsed so they were dropped. Why should AT&T start paying for something that was being offered for free beforehand. Besides, Newsmax had nothing else to offer AT&T in the way of other services or programming.

You can watch it for free on their website or switch to another provider like Comcast who still carries it, for now. Specific channels are not guaranteed by any provider and it says so in their TOS. Contracts come and go and so will channel offerings.

MyPillow has absolutely nothing to do with Bed Bath & Beyond closing 87 stores that were underperforming. Sheesh!

They carry all (Edited per community guidelines) stations, why are they censoring the people of the United States.  We are not Cuba yet.  They also kicked off OAN another digital news source.  Pelosi went to AT&T and demanded them to take off Newsmax and Fox News.  Newsmax ranks 4th highest rated cable news channel.  Now 15 million people have been cut off.  Vice Media remains on because its subsidized by a Direct TV owner.  Bed Bath and Beyond are closing their stores, because they dropped My Pillow.  AT&T and Direct TV will be the next big losers.  The new goverment will drop payment to AT&T and they will lose millions.

OAN walked away due to a carriage agreement that they couldn't agree to. Their demands were just more than DirecTV wanted to pay for. Newsmax was demanding that DirecTV start paying them for what they had originally offered for free. Both were business decisions based on money and what was best for the shareholders. Newsmax may be the 4th ranked "news" channel but they didn't have anything else to offer AT&T and again, the money demands were just too high. MyPillow had nothing to do with underperforming Bed Bath & Beyond closing some stores. By the way, since they announced that, their stock has risen. And Pelosi doesn't have that kind of power to tell a provider to drop an entertainment channel just because she doesn't like what's being presented.

@OttoPylot OAN didn’t walk away, they made a big stink about being dropped. They wanted very badly to get a new agreement. If you remember, about that time there was a story floating around about how OAN wouldn’t even exist if not for being funded by ATT/Directv and that the network was only created because ATT executives wanted another (Edited per community guidelines) channel to rival Fox. Whether or not there was any truth to the last part, I don’t know but I believe ATT wanted to distance themselves from any connection to OAN. I truly believe they were losing more customers due to carrying OAN than they would lose by dropping them. Still a business decision, not censorship as the OAN/Newsmax faithful have been told to believe.
