Can't combine Directv user id with wireless

Every time I try to combine user ids or even link another account it always redirects me to DirecTV to finish setting up the account. The DIRECTV is already active and set up and has its own login under the same contact email/user id as the wireless. When I try to combine ids it said the user id is the same that I’m already logged in with….
