How would I go about getting a contract thru att to remove all the old line they don't use anylonger

If you mean the drop to your house follow which ever method for whether it's buried or aerial. Use this link
I'm speaking of all the unused line that has been switched over to fiber optics
If you're talking about the cables that go pole to pole there's no way you can know whether or not they are still carrying service. If they're not they will get to them whenever, it would be a low priority.
Even being low priority whom would I contact about getting a contract for this we have a bucket truck and this type of work is what we're focused on
No idea, since we're finally to the meat of what you want I'd say you'd need to contact engineering you can find them in the business forum you'll need to re-register engineering can be found under Business Apps and Solutions.
In our area the fiber strand is wrapped to the copper strand…. Cannot remove copper without redoing all the fiber.
Fiber terminal generally one foot from copper similar to pic here
@my thoughts I didn't even think of over lashing, they even did/do that with copper paired cable. About the only time they removed the aerial was when it was totally replaced by buried.
We understand that you're trying to contact AT&T about getting a contract to remove old lines Jennifer9382668.
As the ACE spoom2 stated you would need to reach out to the business forums to get information on how to become a subcontractor for AT&T.
You can also check att.com/careers to find jobs for subcontractors as well. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Thank you for choosing AT&T.
