How to get my address validated and entered into the system so I can place an order in a multi-room Senior Care facility
My relative moved into Senior Care facility. Here room number is not in the AT&T system, so I can't order a landline for her. Rooms around her are in the AT&T system, but needless to say I can't use those room numbers. How can her room number be added as a valid address in this facility?
Thanks!

Call and place a validation request.

Resolution was obtained by calling and stating up front that I was calling about Landline service. Key word was "Landline", otherwise the default direction will be Mobile service. You may also want to state this pertains to a "Telco" service request, Telephone Company. Also, key wording includes wanting a basic landline, otherwise know as Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) line. After reaching the correct department, the representative was very helpful. The key word from the representative was "New" service. Being submitted as a New service order, validation of address was not mandated.
Needless to say, very few orders are for landline service. Hopefully these key words will help you get to the right representative.
