Not able to manage Call Protect for home phone.

I have been having problems with managing Call Protect.

I have called support multiple time over the last couple of months but after hours on the phone with them. They have not been of much help. I have Call Protect enabled but when I press the manage Call Protect button it opens a new window and

I get a server error message. 

Today I tried again but got a different message. Something about not able to complete at this time try again later.

I tried multiple time though the day with the same results. 

I then decided to disable Call Protect and reenable it to see if that would helped. I was able disable it but cannot get it reenabled.

I get a message "uversecentral3.att.com refused to connect.". If I try again I get a message 

"( Error Code :0304 ) Hmm...something isn't working

We can't turn on/off call protect at this time...Please try again later."

I am logged into my account through a web browser and have used multiple PCs and different browsers with the same results. 

Is there anyone from ATT that monitors this forum that might be able to help?

I don't know if anything in this topic will help or not. Since it was taken off board we have no idea what the resolution was or if there was one. This is the bad part of things being taken private.

Since it was taken off board we have no idea if it was resolved or not. Going to tag @ATTHelp to see if they can offer more help. If they do find a resolution please share.

I worked with ATT support thru a direct message conversation on 6/1/2022 from 1:00 PM till 7:00 PM. They were not able to correct the problem They were referring the problem to the next level of support. They said they would make contact again through this forum and direct message. 

It is now the of day on 6/6/2022 and I have not heard a pep from support.

I will post an update if I receive one.

I am having similar problem.  I use NOMOROBO which is still active - but calls are getting through at the rate of about 5 an hour - starting about 2:00pm today! I tried activating Call Protect but that did not stop the calls.  What's going on with the robo call protection at AT&T?  I have U-verse Home Phone.

There's third party blocking devices that claim to give more options. There's also phones with smart call blocker that may help. Personally if I don't recognize the number I just don't answer it. Nine times out of ten if it hits the answering system they just hang up.

Just an update on this problem. 

After working through a DM chat from Jun 1 till Jun 17th. I was not able to get a resolution to this problem or provided an action plan to determine what was wrong. Very disappointed with these results and lack of support to resolve the issue. 

I did call support on this issue again and many hours on the phone (over 20 hours at last count) across several days. Someone did verify that this function is broken and should be fixed. Although they could not tell me when or if it would be fixed. As of today, it is still broken.

Yes. I agree. It is very hard to believe such lack of interest to resolve this problem. It seems that if I had this problem with cell phone service, they might be more interested but as it is a land line service and supported by a different group. There is less interest.

If you're talking landline as in traditional landline (POTS) it won't work. For home phone service it only works with digital service, where the phone plugs into the back of a modem.

That is correct. My landline is provided thru uverse service (digital). My phone plugs into the back of my uverse modem.
