How to de-register an orphaned TL86103 cordless handset?
I tried all three methods in "spoom2"s posting to de-register a TL86103 cordless handset, but none of them work:
https://forums.att.com/conversations/att-phone-features/info-on-deregistering-cordless-handsets/5f82004ec17a06082039d797
There is NEVER a menu that appears (I understand that method 1 does not mention a menu, but method 1 does not work either), and the handset constantly displays "Out of range OR Base no power"
Anyone else find a way to reset an orphaned handset (i.e. - originally registered base no longer available).
Thanks,
Bill

Per page 2 of the manual for TL86103 the two soft keys are menu access, you use one of those when the instructions say to use the menu button, if one doesn't work try the other. Method 1 DOES mention the menu button, so if you're not follow the code with the menu button you're not completing the process.
Also there are two versions of method one.

Wow, you're OBVIOUSLY a GENIUS! Worked first time with the LEFT side softkey! I had tried that key sequence at least 10x, but always ending it with a RIGHT side softkey, the reason being that all my other working wireless handsets have the "Menu" designation over that key.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
